Thumbnails? Progress? What?

So I scanned in my thumbnailed comics and I'mma post them here because I'd love some advice...from anyone, really.  I wanted to see if the basic thumbnailed panels actually are somewhat legible.  They probably won't be, because of my sharpie-addled scribbles, but... oh well!

The skull creature is Tim the Monster, a character I've doodled around a few times.  Here's what he looks like when he's not a sharpie scribble, so you've got an idea of what he's supposed to look like...
and now, for the thumbnails!  Please, any critique would be rad amazing.

  1. Ahhhhhhh.

What I got from it was Tim the monster is roaming around at night with a lantern trying to pick that plant or flower and hears a screaming kid. He tries to entertain the kid to cheer him up but to no avail. Even leaving him the lantern doesn't help until he finally gives him the plant/flower. Very Tim Burton-esque with the monster's look but tender heart.

Panels look good. Your first illo of Tim looks interesting. I'd say you are good to go. Keep in mind that we are doing black and white interiors to cut down on costs. If you do work in color, we can grayscale it once we scan it.

In August, we will have some work parties if you need to "bum a scan" for any large format art at 11 x 17 and if you plan on doing your lettering on the computer.

Looks great, Sierra! You are off and running!
