I Seem To Have Lost My Red Pencil

This fills me with the ragiest rage.

In other news: Storyboarding is happening. Slowly but surely. I'm not decided on what section I want to animate, though. The intro/theme seems like it would be smart in a sort of marketing way, but character interactions are fun and fight scenes are a thing I've never tried before. It might be interesting.

I should try to get the storyboarding done before deciding, though, really. I'm so bad at doing things in order.

And Now For Something Completely Different

I present to you... a thing! Completely unrelated to my animation project. Um. Guache is made of puppy tears and broken dreams. That's all I have to say about that.


Character expressions: Molly's edition. A bonus seal in the corner. I'm still not really fond of most of these. It seems like it's hard for me to draw soft, and if anything she's supposed to be distantly based off of Chris Sanders' art.

Well, I'd hoped to have some more turns for you guys, but when I loaded them up into flash I realized I had some major problems. Instead you get to see my awful rebellious-spaghetti drawings, unfortunately 2D and still.

Tonight for your viewing pleasure I have Ivan, the villain, and Jack, the hero.

So instead of finishing up my turns, I keep on thinking of things to draw and post. So now you get some doodles of Ivan, my villain.

Sulking! Surely this is a worthy way to spend most of your time as a villain. Also smoking. Smoking and sulking.

There are many evils in the world. Some so evil that the villain himself wouldn't unleash them upon the unsuspecting populous. Whatever those evils are, they are in that chest. Hold the lid shut, Ivan! Hold it shut!!

Ivan is a half blood. He's got supernatural ancestry. Unfortunately for him, his ancestors happened to be domovoi. Ivan hates having a beard, but if he doesn't shave (at least twice a day) horrible things like this happen. He goes nuts.
